Opening up .au space for direct registration
auDA (.au Domain Administration) is currently inviting comment on a public issues paper about the way .au domain names are allocated and used. The paper has been prepared by a Names Policy Panel consisting of nominated members of the Australian Internet community who have expressed interest in helping shape policy for the .au domain space.

The 2015 .au survey is launched by AusRegistry and .au Domain Administration (auDA) in an ongoing commitment to understand the Australian Internet user and their relationship with the .au domain namespace. The survey is the third in a series of yearly research campaigns.

auDA is inviting people with an interest in the Australian (.au) domain name policy to nominate for the 2015 Names Policy Panel.

ApexIT Registrar Accreditation Terminated by Consent
auDA(.au Domain Administrator) has given consent to ApexIT Pty Ltd’s intention to terminate its auDA registrar accreditation under clause 2.2 of the Registrar Agreement. On 21 July 2014, ApexIT ceased to be an auDA accredited Registrar.
Registrants who were previous customers of ApexIT must transfer all their .au domain names to a new Registrar of Record before it expires.
