Who is eligible to register a .co domain name?
There are only 10 authorised .CO Registrars. They are;
.CO Domain Registration Periods
April 1, 2010 – Sunrise A – Allows registered Colombian trademark holders to apply for domain names
April 26, 2010 – Sunrise B – Allows other trademark holders to register domain names
June 21, 2010 to July 13, 2010 – Landrush period
July 20, 2010 – General availabilty for all to register

- Any individual or organisation can register a .co domain name depending on the availability.
- No docmentation required
- Registration periods are between 1 and 5 years
- No restrictions on transferring domains from one entity to another
